How to use in the classroom:
1.    Lettering Writing:  Students can be introduced to letter writing by reading the postcards in the books.  The can pick a travel destination then research the place sharing information with their classmate by describing their travels and experience in a letter to the class.
2.    Habitat:  Incorporated Meerkat mail into a habitat study would allow students to compare and contrast climates, habitats and animals.
